Through superior seamanship, luck,
and with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, it is our intention not to fall
victim to any acts of skullduggery. Furthermore, being men of goodwill and believing ourselves
amply provisioned, we do not anticipate committing any such deeds ourselves. We do, however,
have on board Maverick, the Jolly Roger,
should our circumstance or attitude change. |
